Who we are
Jachthaven Waterkant B.V., Sasdijk 2, 4671 RN Dinteloord, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce no. 22039723, is responsible for processing personal data as described in this statement. Questions? Email haven@waterkantbv.nl.
What data we process
- Details you enter in our forms: name, email address, phone number, details about your boat and your message.
- Details needed for a mooring agreement: name, address, contact details, boat details and payment details.
- Information you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
What we use your data for
- To answer your question or request.
- To carry out a mooring agreement or booking.
- To meet legal obligations, such as our accounting and the tourist tax.
We do not use your data for newsletters or advertising without your consent, and we never sell it to others.
How long we keep data
We do not keep data longer than necessary. Requests that do not lead to an agreement are deleted within 12 months. Data covered by the Dutch tax retention obligation is kept for 7 years.
Parties we work with
- Netlify hosts this website and processes the forms. Form submissions are stored in the United States. For this, Netlify uses the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- Our email provider, where messages sent through the website arrive.
- For reservations you use the booking systems of our partners: camper pitches (boeken.jachthavenwaterkant.nl), boats (Letsbook), the slipway (Stripe) and houseboats and camping pods (Airbnb). The privacy statement of the relevant party also applies to those bookings.
Cookies
This website does not place cookies for statistics or advertising. The map on the contact page is provided by Google Maps and only loads if you choose to load it. Google may then place cookies, which are covered by Google's privacy policy.
Security
This website uses a secure connection (HTTPS). We take appropriate measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised use.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to object to its use. To do so, email haven@waterkantbv.nl. We will respond within one month.
Not satisfied with how we handle your data? You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
